Best DIY St. Patrick Day Cocktail Recipes
When considering drink options for one of the biggest celebrations of the year we often think it must consist of a green beer or Guinness. Believe it or not, tequila, gin and rum have made their way to the St. Patrick’s Day festivities.
This year, pass on the green beer and try your hand at one of the festive drinks below.
GREEN MONSTER
2 oz Código 1530 Blanco Tequila
.75 oz Mint & Cucumber Purée
1 oz Lemon Juice
.5 oz Agave
Directions: Add all ingredients to a tin and shake over ice. Strain into a glass with fresh ice. Garnish with lime, cucumber and mint.

1 oz Aviation American Gin
1 oz Green Chartreuse
1 oz fresh Lime juice
1 oz Richard's Sparkling Rainwater
Garnish with a slice of fresh Cucumber and fresh Basil
Directions: Add gin, chartreuse and lime juice to a cocktail shaker, shake to mix. Add to a glass with ice. Top with Sparkling Richard's Rainwater and garnish.
BUTTERED RUMMY
1 oz. Kōloa Kaua’i Cacao Rum 1 oz. Kōloa Kaua’i Spice Rum 4 oz. boiling hot Water 2 Tablespoons butter batter Garnish: Sprinkle nutmeg Glass: Textured Mug
Instructions: Add boiling water to a tempered mug and stir with Kōloa Kaua’i Cacao Rum, Kōloa Kaua’i Spice Rum, and butter batter until dissolved and combined. Sprinkle nutmeg for garnish. Butter batter Mix: 1 lb brown sugar ½ lb butter Pinch of salt ½ tsp. nutmeg ½ tsp cinnamon ½ tsp cloves
Directions: Soften butter over low heat. Cream butter and sugar until smooth and fluffy, add other ingredients and mix thoroughly refrigerate 24 hours. Credit:

LUCK BE A LADY
1 oz El Bandido Yankee Reposado
1 oz Midori
1.5 oz Junmai Sake Nigori
.25 oz Green Chartreuse
.5 oz Lime Juice
Directions: Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake to chill, then strain into a rocks glass full of fresh ice. Garnish with 1 shamrock. (Oxalis aka Shamrock is edible, really tasty, and you can find them at most plant shops)
ST. PAT’S PICK
1.5 oz Slang Irish Whisky
0.75 oz Chambord
0.25 oz Green Herbal Liqueur (Green Chartreuse)
1.0 oz Irish Breakfast Tea
Pinch Salt
0.25 oz Stout (Guinness) Syrup
Equal parts brown sugar to Guinness beer
Add ingredients to saucepan and bring to boil. Once boiling turn off heat and let cool.
Store in the refrigerator until ready for use.
Directions: Prepare all ingredients in a mixing glass and stir for 45 seconds. Pour cocktail over ice into a rocks glass and garnish with a lemon twist!
ROE & CO IRISH COFFEE
1.5 oz Roe & Co
2 tsp light brown sugar
1 cup hot or cold brewed coffee
Whipped cream
Directions:
HOT: Add Hot coffee and sugar, stir and mix well. Once combined, add the Roe & Co Irish Whiskey. Top with Whipped Cream.
COLD: Mix sugar and cold brew coffee well. Stir in Roe & Co. Irish Whiskey and pour over ice filled Irish coffee mug. Top with Whipped Cream.
