Breeders' Cup World Championships’ Star-Studded Event Returns to Del Mar Racetrack

On Saturday, November 6, 2021, the Breeders’ Cup returned to Del Mar Racetrack for its 38th running of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships. This year marks only the second time Del Mar Racetrack hosted the Breeders’ Cup, one of Thoroughbred racing’s most prestigious international events, consisting of 14 races and purses totaling $31 million over two days at one of the world’s most scenic racing venues. Breeders’ Cup World Championships’ VIP ambassadors in attendance were Elizabeth Banks, Bo Derek, Carson Kressley, Avery, Johnson, Steven Jackson, Kareem Rosser and John Ortiz. Additional talent on hand to enjoy the races included Anne Heche, Max Carver, Joel Michaely, Audrina Patridge, Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules Scheana Shay and Brock Davies, David Magidoff, Davina Potratz, Taylor Dayne, Manuel Uriza, Natasha Henstridge, Joy Corrigan, Loreen Hwang, Derek Warburton, and DJ Vice.

The grandeur of the Breeders’ Cup brings the most impressive fashion, with a focus on purple and gold colors, which are the Breeder’ classic colors. Christine A. Moore Millinery was the Official Milliner of the Breeders' Cup, outfitting celebrities on the signature “Purple Carpet” and inside the Trophy Lounge. *Davina Portratz, Loreen Hwang and Audrina Patridge are all wearing Christine A. Following the purple carpet, the two story Trophy Lounge hosted the VIPs for an exclusive race day experience where they enjoyed cocktails and a seated multi-course lunch while overlooking the track. Following the races, DJ VICE powered the intimate after party at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.
