This custom home located on Lake Minnetonka in Minnesota marries elements of mountain style and lakefront living. Sitting on over 4 acres, overlooking the lake, this 10,000 sq. foot home was new construction that took over 3 years from planning through construction.
From start to finish, JHID collaborated with Reid Smith Architects to incorporate elements of stone, steel, glass and wood. Pops of color paired with neutral furnishings and some carefully curated art pieces add distinction. Nautical details such as rope lighting and cabinet hardware nod to the home’s location. Harnessing the views, floor to ceiling windows carefully placed allows the exterior elements to blend inside.
The minimialist kitchen with black custom cabinetry compliments the clean lines of the structure. The custom oversized center island is an informal gathering space for day to day.

High ceilings and thick, interesting architectural appointments are proportionate to this home’s volume.
