Pharrell Williams & David Grutman - The Goodtime Hotel

The Goodtime Hotel opened its doors earlier this year in the heart of South Beach on Washington Ave. Led by globally-renowned hospitality innovator and entrepreneur, David Grutman, and artist and designer, Pharrell Williams, The Goodtime Hotel is a full-service 266-room boutique hotel and entertainment destination creating experiences synonymous with its namesake.

The Goodtime Hotel stands in a central, historic section of South Beach, along the town’s famed Washington Avenue. Its corrugated facade, airy atrium entryway, hand-painted hothouse murals and Deco plasterwork recall the opulence and nostalgia of a time gone by. The hotel - offering everything you need and nothing more - is designed for the modern travelers’ taste. Quaint highly designed guest rooms with colorful accents and whimsical details range from majority queen bed accommodations to a handful of suites. Moreover, each of The Goodtime Hotel’s guest rooms features custom bedding, bespoke drapes (including a blackout option, in the event you need a few more hours to recharge), leopard-print benches, Ortigia bath amenities, and a signature pink rotary dial phone. Many rooms offer direct views west to Biscayne Bay or east to the Atlantic ocean, which guarantee Instagram-worthy sunrise or sunset views! In the guest corridors, a carpet woven with mock wet footprints amplifies the playful charm of Miami Beach.

Additionally, The Pool at Strawberry Moon is equipped with two bars, two parallel pools, and a DJ booth where VIP guest DJs are always mixing. Located on the third floor of the hotel, the pool is a photo-ready venue designed to transport guests into a classic Miami Beach Art Deco era, with a touch of energy and style from old world Havana Cuba and Beverly Hills.

The Goodtime Hotel holds additional key aspects, such as its gym, featuring MyBeast and Peloton equipment, and its Library, a glossy peach-hued, and natural oak-clad room meant for anything from coffee to cocktails to casual business meet-and-greets. Filled with eclectic hand-picked sculptures and accessories among the color-coordinated bookshelves, The Library is a sociable meeting ground within the hotel, where guests may seamlessly transition from work mode to weekend mode.

The Goodtime is also home to Grutman and Pharrell’s original indoor/outdoor restaurant concept, Strawberry Moon, serving up classic and casual Mediterranean fare and a full array of specialty cocktails for dinner and weekend brunch, inside or poolside. Strawberry Moon amplifies modern Miami’s crossroads of culture and energy, with Ken Fulk’s design concept channeling the mid-century Caribbean and Central American resort towns. Dishes include the famous Moon Bread, Spicy Feta Mezze Dip, Sheftalia, Turkish Pizzas, Short Ribs, Kebabs, and more. Strawberry Moon also offers happy hour - Tuesday through Thursday from 6 PM to 9 PM.

The hotel has recently launched a Bottomless Poolside Cabana Brunch program every Saturday and Sunday from 12 PM to 2 PM where parties of up to six people can enjoy unlimited mimosas or Moulin de gussac Rose and a family-style brunch menu for $750++ from inside one of the popular striped pool cabanas (an additional $100 per guest is added to the bill up to a total of 10 people). With the reservation, each party receives one of each food item featured on the set menu that is served family-style including Shakshuka, Breakfast Pide, Chocolate Babka French Toast, Falafel, Greek Salad, and the Mezze Trio. (menu attached below). The portion size of each dish will be based on the size of the party.
