Elevated Magazines: Tell us about the concept behind your clothing line Whitney Morgan.

Zahra Bahari: Over the last few years, I realized there was a gap in the market for inclusive, yet luxurious fashion. We created Whitney Morgan for real-sized women looking for beautiful high-quality classic pieces that can be worn to the office, out with friends, and everywhere their busy lives take them!

Why did you choose to partner exclusively with Neiman Marcus?

We are so excited to partner with Neiman Marcus as they are an iconic retailer that carries only the finest lines and brands. As a luxe clothing line, we know Neiman Marcus shoppers will love Whitney Morgan as they look to purchase clothing for their return to the office or as they pick up well tailored pieces that will become closet staples.

What is your favorite piece from your current collection?

Right now, I am loving our Cashmere Blend Long Cardigan. It’s super soft and is the perfect layering piece to dress up or down as the temperature drops, or even layer on for those days when the weather changes. It’s extremely versatile both in style and purpose while feeling absolutely luxurious with the comfort of cashmere!

How has the world of size-inclusive fashion changed over the years and what are your hopes for the future of the industry?

In recent years, we have seen so many more brands enter the space as well as more brands extend their sizing. All women want to look and feel great in their clothes, and deserve to - that was the reason we started Whitney Morgan. Whitney Morgan is just one option women now have as they look to fill their closet with luxury pieces and I hope many more lines begin to offer options for all women in the future.
